Gok has defended his new show Miss Naked Beauty after it was claimed he humiliated his contestants.

The show is a modern twist on classic beauty pageants and sees 200 women stripped bare to see their true colours. But in one episode, women were blasted with a water hose in an attempt to take their make-up off. Watch what Gok has to say about his show in the video below:

Gok Wan has replaced his telly co-star Alexa Ching with ex-singer Mica Paris.

Alexa, 25, worked on C4 show Gok’s Fashion Fix. But he said at the launch of a new West End show: “I am not working with Alexa on the next series. Mica is doing it.”

Gok, 34, also revealed he is working on a documentary about obesity which will show how he lost more than 10st.

Gok Wan has said that he would love to get married some day.

In an interview with Heat magazine, the TV presenter said: “I’d love a wedding day. I helped organise my best friend’s wedding and it was loads of fun.”

“I spent the entire day getting present envy, so I’d probably do it for all the gifts.”

Speaking about the possibility of raising a family, Wan said: “It’s getting more unlikely, the older and busier I get. It was always part of my lifeplan, though.”

“Among the chaos, SJP was amazing” Gok says of this snapshot of him and “Sex and the City” actress Sarah Jessica Parker, which was featured in a recent issue of Closer magazine.

In addition to praising SJP as “amazing,” “gorgeous” and “incredibly professional,” Gok says he is the biggest “Sex and the City” fan ever and he “will challenge anyone who thinks they can take my title.” Well, Gok will be happy to know that there is going to be a second “Sex and the City” movie. It’s no secret that Gok loves to shop for clothes, but what else does he spend his money on? In this scan from a recent issue of Closer magazine, Gok revealed that he recently spent £150 on flowers for one of his close friends simply and sweetly because he wanted “to tell her I love her.” Awww!
